1.1 NRS II Scenarios

Scenario 1 IP Subnetting Inthislab,youwilldesignandconfigureanIPnetworkaddressingschemetosupportthecommunicationneedsofaroutednetwork.ThegoalofthisexerciseistoprovideanopportunitytopracticesubnettingagivenblockofIPaddresses.

Scenario 2 Static Routing Inthislab,youwillconfigurestaticroutesinSROS.Onceyourconfigurationiscomplete,youwillusebasictechniquestoverifyIPconnectivitybetweenroutersinthenetworks.Defaultroutesarealsoconfiguredonstubroutersbecausethereisonlyonewaytoreachanexternalnetwork.Floatingandindirectstaticroutesarealsocoveredinthescenario.

Scenario 3 OSPF Routing Inthislab,youwillconfiguremultipleOSPFareasinordertoallowtherouterstodynamicallyexchangeroutes.BothStubandNSSAareaswillbecovered.Inaddition,youwillconfigureanISISareaandsetitupsothatitallowsrouteredistributionbetweentheISISandOSPFenvironments.

Scenario 4 ISIS Routing TheISISRoutingscenariowillexplorebasicISISconfigurationwithSROSincluding:

Scenario 6 RSVP Facility with fast-reroute Inthisscenario,youwillconfigurethenetworktosupportRSVPsignaledLSPs.Youwillalsoprovision2LSPswithprimaryandsecondarypaths.EachLSPwillbecreatedusingadistinct setofparametersandwillbeprotectedusingFastReroute facilitytunnels.

Scenario 7 RSVP one-to-one Fast-reroute Inthisscenario,youwillconfigurethenetworktosupportRSVPsignaledLSPs.Youwill provision 2 LSPswith primary and secondary paths. Each LSPwill be createdusingadistinctsetofparametersandwillbeprotectedusingFastRerouteOnetoOnetunnels.

Two full mesh VPRNs will be configured where all PE sites share routing updates with each other

Configuration of a VPRN topology where headquarter sites of one VPRN can exchange routes with a headquarter site of another VPRN. This exercise will implement a VPRN Extranet topology.
