Epovia® OptimumHigh corrosion resistant Vinyl Esters

• High resistance to hydrolysis:The water can be diffused in an organic matrix like in a resin until a maximum value limit called saturation level is reached. The side figure shows the low level of water absorption in Vinyl Ester.

In addition, the saturation level of water in Vinyl Ester will stay stable longer compared to UP resins;

Gel time: 1.5% K12 + 0.5% NL23 at 23°C. Mechanical properties are measured on pure resin, after post-curing (2 hours at 80°C and 1 hour at 120°C).
