Worlds Collide: Part 2

1 day later… Tokyo, Japan.

[At Yuji’s flat…] (Rain falls hard against the window) (Hiro is looking out of the window) Hiro: What have I done? (Yuji walks over to Hiro) Yuji: There’s no use getting yourself worked up over things you cannot change! Hiro: Sako was my best friend and I did not believe him when he was telling the truth! (His voice breaks) (Yuji walks over to the TV) I left him to die! He was meant to be my best friend and that is how I treated him! (Yuji switches on the TV)

(Yuji picks up the remote and presses P+) (TV switches to News Japan English) “Police are still investigating the wreckage of an apartment believed to be the headquarters of the unknown superhero group operating in Tokyo. The explosion which happened on Monday night...” (Yuji walks away) (The newsreader’s voice fades) Yuji: Hiro, sit down and stop over thinking Hiro: The others don’t want to go anywhere near me! Yuji: Ok, let’s talk! Hiro: I’m sorry, I’m a mess! Yuji: Its ok, you just need to stop getting yourself worked up! (Hiro sits on the sofa) Hiro: Remember back in high school a few years back? We were the brightest kids in Tokyo! So bright we were interning as trainee meteorologists at Intelligence Japan! Whatever happened to that life Yuji? Yuji: There’s nothing stopping you doing that! Hiro: I know but we were more family than friends you know, we all had each other’s back! Then we grew up! Yuji: Hiro it was never going to stay the same forever… people change! Hiro: After the storm, everything changed!

FLASHBACK – SERIES 1: EPISODE 1 “An Unexpected Disaster” (Fujiwara looks out of the plane window) Fujiwara: Ah! What a beautiful day it is outside! Anthony: Yeah, I know! Sako: It will be nice to get back to Tokyo! (Hiro looks at the GPS) Hiro: We will be in Tokyo in just under 2 hours! Takeshi: Good! I cannot wait to sleep in my own bed! Jet: Weather reports show that we will run into thunderstorms in about Ten minutes! Fujiwara: Ah come on… it was such a nice day! (The plane starts to shake) Pilot: I'm getting turbulence here better strap up! Emma: Jet! I thought you said ten minutes! Takeshi: EMMA! BUCKLE UP! (A huge bolt of lightning strikes the plane) Hiro: We've been hit! (Debris flies all over the place) (Debris hits the plane’s wing, it snaps in half) (The plane starts to break up) (Emma falls out) (Papers fly into the sky) Takeshi: EMMA! (He unbuckles his safety belt) Takeshi: I'm going after her! Hiro: You be killed (He gets hit by a seat) Hiro: Ahh! [Bottom half of plane…] (Sako wakes up) Sako: We've split! Anthony! Fujiwara! Wake up!!! Anthony: WHAT’S HAPPENED! (Anthony’s seat breaks loose) (Anthony gets struck by lightning)

Sako: ANTHONY!! Fujiwara: We're going to die aren’t we! (The rest of the plane breaks up sending them hurtling through the sky) (Sako manages to grab the lifeboat) Sako: Grab on!! (Fujiwara grabs on to lifeboat) [On the top half of plane...] Jet: Hiro, wake up! Hiro: We need to get out of here! When we hit the water we will be killed instantly! If we don’t make it, you are a truly great friend and I am honoured! (Hiro unbuckles his safety belt) StratoSonic: There's no need for that! (Takuma grabs the top half of the plane) Hiro: Who are you! StratoSonic: I'm here to help! [In the air ...] (The Pacific Ocean gets closer by the second) (Emma starts to scream) Takeshi: I got you Emma: Takeshi Takeshi: Yeah Emma: We are going to die! Takeshi: I will do my very best to save you! (StratoGirl appears) StratoGirl: Young love! So sweet! But for now let's get you safety back on dry land! FLASHBACK TO VOLUME…. Yuji: You all did a brave thing and gave up your futures to dedicate your lives to keeping Tokyo, Japan and the world safe! Hiro: Look where that has got us? We are all further apart than we have ever been before. Black Star is rising every day! That attack on our base… I’m sure it won’t be the last! Our world is colliding with theirs and we are not ready! Yuji: All we have is hope Hiro, without hope! You cannot achieve anything!

[At Black Star HQ – Undisclosed Location, Tokyo…] (Hideto is observing the testing of the Aires Gun) (Kenji walks into the room) Kenji: You can safely say that this weapon has the potential to destroy them all? Hideto: Yes, it does! When we captured prisoner X, we studied him. We found some interesting developments on his weaknesses. We have advanced further than we ever thought we would be able to! (Kenji looks shocked) Kenji: I did not think we would reach this point so quickly! Hideto: We are so far ahead that we are close to human trials! Kenji: Human trials? Hideto: The director considered the superhero problem as a worldwide problem. People in Japan and London have shown themselves but there are bound to be more people over the world. This weapon allows us to prepare for the present and the future. Kenji: So who is the weapon going to be tested on? Hideto: Little did your “friends” know that we have had an agent monitoring them for a long period of time, with our network we should be able to track them with relative ease and then we will target them. (Kenji smiles) [Meanwhile back in London…] Scott: Have you thought a bit more on the offer that I made? You would be a valuable member of our team and we would like you to stay in London if you are not returning to Japan! Sako: there is nothing left for me in Japan, I am more than happy to accept your offer and London offers something new! (Scott smiles) Scott: I'm glad that you can accept! Japan's loss is our gain! Sako: Indeed it is! (They shake hands) Scott: Right! I will tell the others of your decision! (Scott walks back inside) Sako: Things will never be the same again!

[Back in Central Tokyo…]

(Fujiwara is walking down the street)

Phone Conversation: “Yuji, Hiro took things too far and we went along with it.

I also have to live with that guilt but I don’t think there is a way back from

this…”

(Fujiwara hails a taxi) (He bumps into a hooded figure walking past him)

Fujiwara: Sorry!

(The person apologizes)

Phone Conversation: “There’s a problem at Work, I have to go in! Take care of

yourself Fujiwara! People are trying to kill us! Don’t give them that chance...”
