Intro

Torment by Amora Thor decides to get away from his companions for awhile in order to gather his thoughts and prove himself that he is as capable

as a mortal as he was as a god. In the meanwhile Anaxenite and Joan leave

to the Render Land and Anaxenite visits the place where she had grown up.

***Montage***

From Episode 11 When Present and Past Collide

*An open field, suddenly a huge portal opens; Thor, Anaxenite, and Joan are

thrown on the grassy ground.*

Joan Where are we?

Anaxenite *looking around* - Home Joan we are in Midgard *she has an

incredulous and anguish look*

Joan *frowns* What now?

Thor We have to find out a way to come back. *with an anguish and worried

expression* - My father

Anaxenite - Hey we will find a way to come back, save the all father, and defeat

Loki.

Thor How? Im mortal now Ana!

Anaxenite Thats not permanent is it?

ThorI dont know. Without my hammerwithout my powers *exhales deeply* I

dont know

******************************************************************

*Odins bedchambers. Odin lies on his bed with his wife Frigg by his side looking

very worried. He looks weak and pale like ivory.*

Frigg How could you do this to your own father Loki? What do you expect from

all this?

LokiHes not my father!

Frigg *with a hurt expression* Not from blood, but from heart; we raised you,

loved you like you were from our own flesh and blood. Oh Loki you changed so

much why?

Loki - I didnt change mother, you just didnt pay enough attention to see how Ireally was.

*Loki looks dont at Odins coin in his hand.*

Loki - But dont worry mother he wont suffer much longer. *grins*

Frigg *rises and heads towards Loki in an aggressive manner*Dont you ever call

me mother again!

Loki *sarcastically* Calm down woman I would hate to have to chain you

upYoure right youre not my mother.

*Loki leaves closing the bedchambers door behind him with a wave of his hand.*

AnaxeniteThor! Whats wrong?

*Ana moves away Thors cloak a little bit. And sees a deep sword cut from his fight

with Loki.*

AnaxeniteThor why didnt you say anything?

ThorIm not a child Ana so stop treating me like one!

Anaxenite *annoyed* No, youre just being your arrogantself! Now if you dont

want to be treated like a child dont act like one and let me take care of

that!...We need to find a place.

******************************************************************

*They enter the building its empty and filthy, by the looks of it no one has been in

there in a while, despite that it looks preserved and luxurious elements such as:

stained glasses, silk curtains, and marble columns.*

Joan *looks around gasping a bit* Wow!

Anaxenite There you go. Now we just need to keep an eye on that, hope itdoesnt get infected.

*Thor grabs Anas hand and she frowns a little*

ThorThanks*clears his throatNever thought I would be in a situation like this.

Anaxenite *taking his hand from hers* Youre welcome. You should get some

sleep it would help you out a lot. *Thor nods*

***End of Montage***

*Inside the abandoned temple Anaxenite and Joan approach the sleeping Thor.*

Joan Being mortal must be tough for him.

Anaxenite Yeah *she squats near him and touches his shoulder* - Thor, Thor

wake up.

*Thor opens his eyes*

Anaxenite How are you feeling?

Thor Okay I guess. *he sits up wincing*

Anaxenite - Think youre able to go back on the road?

Thor *without hesitating* - Yes.

Anaxenite *not very convinced* - Okay so lets go.

*They leave the temple taking with them the supplies they could find.*

*Thor, Anaxenite, and Joan on the road.*

Joan *looks wary* Ana do you perhaps know where we are?

Anaxenite Sure, we are on Silver Peak Road, it leads to Render Land. *seeing

Joan curious face* - I grew up nearby.

Joan Oh that explains it.

Anaxenite In a few hours we reach the province. But its getting late, we should

camp.

Thor Yeah over there *pointing at a clearing* should be fine.

*They start preparing camp.*

Anaxenite Going to hunt something for us to eat. *joking* - Any preferences?

Thor *playing along*You better not even ask, I could eat a deer right now. *Ana

chuckles*

******************************************************************

*The trio is sleeping around the camp fire. Close in on Thor, hes sleeping on his

back. His sleep in restless.*

*Thor feels someone kissing him and opens his eyes widely.*

Female voice *seductively* - Forget me so soon?...I think you didnt.

Thor *his eyes widen* Amora! Wha..?

Amora *putting a hand over his lips* - ShhhhhhYou should have kept your

wordbut well not something to expect from a coward

Thor What are you talking about? If its about the champion of Asgard, I never

promised a thing you just assumed you would get the title.

Amora Im talking about everything, oh that too, but you I mean you mortal

living like one, what a shame, and even worse being taking care of by your mortal

warriorhow the mighty have fallen. Dont you feel embarrassed? *Thor looks

troubled* Have you no spunk anymore? At least when you were with me you were

the greatest, respected, even feared, now look at you! But that can change Thor,

the only thing you have to do is *presses a finger bellow his chin* give in to me.

Thor Youre a lunatic! Thats not going to happen. *sarcastic* you should be

happy and Loki are a perfect match.

Amora *whispering in his ear* - You will, when you reach a dead end, then you

will remember me. *grinning* When Odin is dead, his kingdom taken by Loki and

you cant do a thing because youre a pathetic mortal. *laughs mordantly*

Thor Nooooooo!

*Thor wakes up and sits up, sweat all over his face.*

*Ana wakes up with the noise and looks at Thor.*

Anaxenite You okay?

Thor Yeah, just a dream.

******************************************************************

*In the morning the trio is packing to leave. Thor approaches Anaxenite.*

Thor Ana.

Anaxenite Yeah?

Thor I need to go.

Anaxenite *frowns* - Where?

Thor I still dont knowLook there are some things I need to figure out bymyself.

AnaxeniteAlright, you do whats best for you.

*Anaxenite and Thor approach Joan.*

Anaxenite Joan, Thor is leaving.

Joan *surprised looks at Thor with an inquisitive expression* What? Why?

Thor Is something I need to do on my own.

JoanBut we

Anaxenite*cuts her off putting a hand on her friends shoulder* - There are some

things in which we cannot interfere.

Joan *confused* Okay.

*************

*Anaxenite and Thor stand now alone.*

Anaxenite If you need anything you know who to call.

Thor I know.

Anaxenite *teasingly* - Just you behave!

Thor *amused* - Oh I will dont worry. *grins*

Anaxenite Good bye Thor.

Thor More like a see you later. *gives her a light smile and she smiles back*

*An enormous and luxurious Castle situated in Render Land one of the nine

provinces of Midgard, surrounded by crystal waters the Green Flow river and the

Render Montains.*

*In the kitchen of the castle the cookers are preparing the food. A servant girl

comes in with an empty tray in hands.

Servant girl Puff hell is breaking loose. There are they fighting again! I wonder

why.

Idona - Watch your tongue missy! Youre talking about the king and the keen, I

dont want disrespect. The subjects of their conversations are none of our business!

Now let me finish supper and keep doing your chores Runa.

*At the kings bedchamber. The king and the queen are having an arguing.*

Queen Jenessa Undain Why have you become so bitter?

King Anton Undain You know why.

Queen Jenessa Undain Dont you think I suffer too?Its my little girl. Its been

so long and its like she was ripped from my arms yesterday Its my fault that

shes not with us now.*she seats on the bed tears start to roll down her face.*

*Anton seats next to her and brushes her face.*

King Anton Undain It is because of you that she may be still alive. *she turns

her stare back at him* - You did what any mother who loves their child would do to

protect them. And I love you for it Jen. *they hug*

King Anton Undain Justice is about to be done Aad will be brought to justice.

Queen Jenessa Undain *anguished* More bloodshed?

King Anton Undain I know its against your nature but it is necessary. We

cannot live in fear no more. He spreads terror in our lands: burns cities, abducts

girls for slavery, hes a plague that must be stopped for good.

******************************************************************

*Odins bedchambers. Frigg remains near the bed.*

Odin *opening his eyes slowly* - Frigg?

Frigg *grabbing his hand* Odin! By the gods youre awake!

Odin Thor, where is Thor?

Frigg Hes mortal now, Loki sent him to Midgard with those two mortal warriors.

*with an anguish look* Gods I hope our son is alright.

Odin *his voice weak, speaking with effort* I have faith in him my dear wife. Ive

never liked much that mortal Anaxenite, but I must admit that she has always been

faithful to Thor since he took her under his wing.

******************************************************************

*Anaxenite and Joan are now back on the road alone.*

Anaxenite - We are getting into Render, just look at these woods! *stares ahead

amazed*

*The beginning of a thick and green forest stands, the sound of several types of

animals is heard, rare species of birds tweet intensively.*

AnaxeniteIn these woods theres no other season than Spring, the field and the

foliage are always green, and you also can tell by the animals behavior that is

indeed true, I mean we are in the middle of Winter and look at this.

Joan How is this possible?

Anaxenite This is territory of Nymphs.

Joan Oh Ive heard stories of them.

Anaxenite Female nature deities normally associated with a particular location.

They are divine spirits who animate nature.

Joan Not to mention beautiful too, who love to dance, and sing. Are they

immortal?

Anaxenite Not quite, although they can never die of old age or illness they arent

immortal and can be beholden to death in various forms. They can however give

birth to fully immortal children if mated a god.

Joan Wow you do know a lot about them!

Anaxenite I heard stories about them while growing up. *puts an arm around

Joans shoulder smiling* - Lets go.

*They are crossing the woods when a figure using a long cloak with a hood

suddenly appears in front of them. The women look warily.*

Female voice - Your name precedes you Anaxenite.

Anaxenite - Who are *her eyes widen in surprise as the woman removes her

hood* - By the gods! Maera! *Ana runs toward the woman and embraces her*

Maera *her eyes are misty* My child!

Anaxenite *unable to council any emotion* - I thought, I thought you were dead!

Maera Almost my little girl. Come with me, my house is just outside the woods, I

was collecting medicinal plants; these woods are a blessing from the gods. Your

friend is very welcome too of course.

*Maera picks up her basket and starts walking. Anaxenite and a very curious Joan

follow Maera.*

Joan to Anaxenite *in low voice* Who is this lady Ana?

Anaxenite Maera is the woman who raised me. *smiles while looking tenderly

after Maera*

*They reach a wooden cottage, surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Render.*

Joan Wow nice place!

*They enter the house.*

Maera Please seat down, I will get you a hot drink.

*Anaxenite and Joan sit down at the kitchen table while Maeraa prepares a tea.

MaeraGods theres so much to talk about that I dont even know where to start.

Anaxenite *curiously* Maera I noticed that you have the royal coat of arms

printed in your front door, why?

Maera Its in gratitude to the ruler of Midgard, King Anton Undain, he

accomplished the former ruler of Midgard King Astrid Undain - her last wish: to

build houses for the people who had lost theirs due to attack of warlords like those

horrible men who captured you

Anaxenite *a name escapes from her mouth with disgust * - Fjall

******************************************************************

***Flashback***

*Inside a modest house three built up men, ruffians by the looks of it, are

grabbing a middle-aged woman. She is on her knees, one of the ruffians, possible

the chief, grabs her hair and points a dagger to her throat.*

Ruffian You better have something for us woman, our lord would be very

displeased if we were to leave this house with empty hands.

Woman *scared*Take whatever you want

Ruffian What this rubbish? You have to do better than that *presses the

dagger against her neck, drawing blood*

*Hushed steps are heard against the wooden floor accompanied with screams.*

Female voice Let her go! Please let her go. *A young girl about 16 years old

rushes to where they are. Its Anaxenite.*

Ruffian *appreciably* What do we have here?! *grins*

Young AnaxeniteDont hurt her.

Ruffian *sarcasm on his voice* We dont need to any more, youre coming

with us.

Ruffian *gesturing to another ruffian* You get her! *He grabs Ana by the

arms* - *gestures to the other ruffian* - And you kill the woman. *grins*

Anaxenite What? No! *rage starts growing inside of her*

*Anaxenite kicks the man who is grabbing her hitting him in the midsection and

when he doubles over himself in pain she punches him on the face with her elbowmaking him fall.*

Ruffian What the! Detain her!

*The other man who was holding Maera lets go of her and attacks Anaxenite.

Anaxenite - Maera run! Run please! *Maera hesitates but does so, tears on her

eyes*

*Ana is able to keep him occupied only for a little bit, but its enough time to give

the chance to Maera leave the house.*

Anaxenite - The slave traders name was Fjall, he sold me to a rich man called

Nagelfar.Maera *curiously* Was?

Anaxenite Yes hes dead, both of them are. *looks down quiet as memories

coming back*

***Flashback***

From Episode 6 Past Memories

*A dark and cold dungeon in a Castle, a 17 year old girl restrained by chains,

beaten and broken is on a filthy cells floor. A closer look and a younger

Anaxenite can be seen.*

*The chief of the Ruffians intervenes grabbing Anas neck.*

Ruffian to his companions You get the woman and kill her! *now to

Anaxenite* Well, well arent we feisty! I just won my day *grins and then

punches Ana in the face knocking her unconscious*

***End of Flashback***

Guard Enjoyed the bath? ...*Looks her over her scanty white clothes are a

bit transparent now* *grinning* - you know I may have some fun after all.

*Anaxenite takes his distraction and the fact of being so close to him to grab the

keys from his belt without him noticing.*

Male voice - Leave her! You are needed upstairs! Besides you dont want to

upset our lord do you? That one its one of his favourites, pity shes so selvage.

Guard *upset* - Fine! *To Ana* - Ill be back later

Anaxenite Oh yes please I have a surprise for you

Guard *a bit startled* oh yeah?

Anaxenite uh uhfirst Im going to get out of here, Kill you, your lord and

then even might give myself the trouble to find the bastard who sold me to your

pity boss!

Guard *laughs* I might have really exaggerated on the beating youre not

making any sense. And dont push it or you might regret it.

*********

Anaxenite stabbing the guard in the back. The guard moans in pain and shock

and falls on his knees.*

Anaxenite *looking him in the eye*- Payback is a bitch. Pity, think your lord will

have to wait a little bit more for my visit, Im in a hurry. But the promise is not

forgotten dont worry.

From Episode 8 Past Deeds

Nagelfar Fjall! Its always a pleasure to see you! Bring me what I asked for?

Nagelfar *with a hearty laugh* - I can see you havent changed a thing, always

quiet.*

*Gets up and approaches Fjall. Suddenly he feels a hand on his neck choking

him.*

Nagelfar *his eyes widen in confusion* - What?

Female voiceIm afraid Fjall is no longer in the business!

Nagelfar

Who are you?

Anaxenite *changing subject* - Im glad you escaped Maera! *smiles*

Maera*noticing Anas discomfort* - My dear whatever you did Im sure you didwhat you thought that was right.

Anaxenite No Maera, not always.

Maera *trying to light up the moods* What about some cookies?

Anaxenite *smiles in despite of herself* - What those wonderful cookies you used

to do when I was a child?

Maera I knew that that would cheer you up!

*The three woman eat and share stories, they are so entertained that they donteven notice the hours passing by.*

Maera You girls should get some rest, come with me I have a spare room.

*Its dawn, inside the bedroom Anaxenite and Joan are sound asleep. Maera opens

the door carefully not to wake them up and approaches Ana tapping her on the

shoulder. Anaxenite opens her eyes and Maera gestures for Ana to go with her

outside.*

Maera Sorry for waking you up but I needed to talk with you alone.

Anaxenite No problem, something wrong?

Maera No. I need to give you something, something that belongs to you. I was

planning to give it to you on your seventh birthday but didnt have the chance.

*Maera has a clothe wrapping something in her hands and opens it while Ana looks

at it curiously. A beautiful necklace is kept inside. Ana gasps in surprise. The

pendant has an intriguing design made of silver, where two intertwined snakes are

inlaid a rare blue gem and it hangs from a leather cord.*

Female voice *removes the hood* - Dont recognize me? Im disappointed! I

used to be your favourite!

Nagelfar Ana!? *hes about to call for the guards but feels a sharp pain in his

chest and finds himself unable to speak, falls on his knees. Ana pushes him to the

ground. Hes dying but still hears what she says*

AnaxenitePig! Ill see you and your creepy slaveholder in hell.

Anaxenite *gasps in surprise* Maera is gorgeous! Where did you get a necklace

like this if you dont mind my asking?

Maera You had it when I found you. Must have been from your mother.

Anaxenite Do you know who is she?

Maera No my child Im sorry.

Anaxenite Its okay, not that I actually thought I would ever know about my

parents What exactly happened on the day you found me?

Maera I was on the woods nearby the house collecting medicinal plants like I

used to do and I heard the sound of brands cracking, at first I got scared becauseof the warlords and thugs on the loose but then I heard a voice

***Flashback***

Female voice Help! Please help me.

*Maera sees a woman coming from behind a tree; shes in a very bad shape,

her skin pale, dark circles around her eyes, and shes panting. She rushes

towards the woman and only then she sees that the woman is embracing

protectively a baby wrapped in blanket and that she has been hit by an arrow in

the back.*

Maera You were an easy going baby. Im just sorry that Oddny couldnt tell me

who your parents were.

Anaxenite *takes a hand to Maeras face* - You were and are the best mother Icould ever have and I love you for what you did for me and for teaching me

everything you know. I had to face a lot of difficult situations in my life and if not

for your teachings things could have gone really wrong.

*The bedroom door opens with a noise and Joan comes out of the room.*

Anaxenite Maera, Joan and I will have to leave soon. We have to help a friend,

well a very special one in a quest of the most importance.

MaeraI didnt expect to have you around for long. I know the type of life you

have child. But please dont forget to visit the old woman in here! *her voice is

filled with emotion, shes sad but she also understands the situation*

Maera Gods! *she holds the baby with an arm and supports the woman with

the other* - Easy, easy Ive got you.

*Maera takes them inside her house and lays the woman on her bed, then thebaby as well lying safely between two pillows. Then she starts checking out the

womans condition, she has obviously lost a lot of blood and is moaning in pain.

Maera looks worried.*

Maera Is this your child? *the woman shakes her head in denial* - Okay. Can

you tell me your name?

Woman Oddny. II*She starts coughing.*

Maera *grabs her hand* Easy, dont talk more, save your strength.

Odnny But II need to*coughs again this time blood comes out from hermouth, she starts convulsing and then stands still.*

*Maera checks for pulse but nothing. She looks down. The baby starts crying and

she immediately picks the baby up for nursing.*

Maera Now arent you a beautiful baby girl. *she smi les adoringly as the

beautiful green eyed baby stare at her and gives a hiccup.*

*She then checks the inside of the baby bag that the woman was carrying

looking for things to nurse the baby, and she finds a small box..

Marea *intrigued*- Whats this? It sure isnt a common box. *inside she finds abeautiful necklace* - Wow *looks at the baby* what a nice necklace you have

herebabyI guess I have to pick up a name for you, dont I? *the baby

giggles*

Anaxenite Of course not! *she hugs Maera tightly*

******************************************************************

*Ana and Joan are back on the road, taking with them some goodies provided by

Maera.*

Joan Gods Ana! Maera has such a hand for the kitchen! These cookies are

awesome! *eats another cookie* You were one lucky girl!

Anaxenite *chuckles* - No doubt!

*Ana takes the necklace from her bosom, looks at it and smiles.*

Joan *seeing this* Think you will ever find your family?

AnaxeniteNo, I dont think so. For me this is a gift from Maera and...*she cuts

herself short when the sound of swords clashing are heard. She starts running

towards the tumult.*

Anaxenite to JoanLets go!

*At a distance a man is sparing with two very built up and aggressive thugs. Four

lifeless bodies lay on the ground, two are thugs, the rest by their garments are

guards. The man is losing badly and falls down.*

*Anaxenite and Joan arrive the local and when one of the stocky thug is about to

run the man through Ana blocks his blow. Joan goes for the other guy.*

Anaxenite to the thug - Now two against one, lets balance the odds shall we?

*she strikes firmly making the thug recede *he look is one of surprise and anger*

ThugYoull regret th! *before he finishes his line Ana punches him in the face

making him fall down, blood in his mouth*

*He gets up grabs his sword and attacks Ana, she summersaults over his head

gives a powerful kick in his back and lands behind him. The thug starts running and

calls his companion who is still fighting Joan. They both flee looking the worse for

the wear.*

*The man they went to defend remains open mouthed with the display.*

*Anaxenite approaches him to help him getting up.*

Anaxenite Sir are you alright? *he seems not to be listening to her*

Man *thinking*By the gods shes gorgeous!

Anaxenite Sir?

Man *rather clumsy* Uh yesThank you for the help. *he takes her hand and

gets up. Im Klamp Undain. *extends his hand to Ana*

Anaxenite *extends her hand back* Anaxenite and this is my friend Joan *hegreets Joan as well*

Klamp Undain Pleasure meeting you both. Those were some moves!

*admiringly* Where did you learn to fight like that is you dont mind my asking?

Joan *replies without giving time for Ana to say anything* - Ana is the Champion

of Asgard. *Ana glares at Joan*

Klamp Undain Whoa! You mean the favourite warrior of the God of Thunder?

Joan Yes, the one! *Ana glares at her again uncomfortably*

Anaxenite to Klamp * clears her throat and changing subject * - So, who were

these men who attacked you?

Klamp Undain Assassins, these kind of attacks have only increased lately.

*looks down* I fight but Im not a great warrior *venting* well at least not the

great warrior my father wanted me to be. *exhales deeply* I hate the fact that I

dont reach his standards.

AnaxeniteWho is your father if you dont mind my asking?

Klamp Undain King Anton Undain, ruler of Midgard.

Joan *gasps in surprise* - The king of Midgard?!

Anaxenite You know, the fact that youre not the warrior your father wanted you

to be it doesnt mean you will not be a good king.

Klamp Undain But right now my father could use a good strategist and warrior.

And Im his only son.

AnaxeniteWhats happening?

Klamp Undain We are about to go to war against Aad Undain, hes a vicious

killer, wicked deceiving bastard that doesnt keep his promises. Twenty years ago

on the day he was suppose to sign a decree of peace with my father his men

invaded the palace, killed servants, almost all the guards andmy mother Regan

Stonecold.

Joan *shocked* Gods, the Queen as well!Wait you said Undain, so youre

related with your nemesis?

Klamp UndainYes, hes my uncle, King Antons brother My father got marriedagain, with Queen Jenessa, my stepmother, shes a nymph.

Joan *surprised* A nymph? The king married a

Klamp Undain Yes a non-human woman. Ive heard stories when I was growing

up that my father was already in love with her before my mothers deathThey

never speak about that and it doesnt matter, to me Queen Jenessa is a good

woman and she has always been like a real mother to me.

Joan And thats what matters in the end right?

Klamp Undain Yes *smiles* Not to mention that she knows how to control my

dads bad temper. *chuckles* - You both are very welcome to come to the palace

to have dinner tonight.

Anaxenite Thats very generous of you but we cannot accept that. You see we

are

Klamp Undain Please I insist. If it is about the attire, dont worry about that,

Ive servants in the castle that can help you with that. I want to present you to the

king.

Joan The king, oh boy.

Anaxenite to Joan *elbows her and speaks between her teeth* - Would be rude

not to accept, wouldnt it?

Joan Guess so.

Anaxenite to klamp It will be an honor lord.

*They start their journey to the Castle of King.*

Anaxenite Prince Klamp, how is King Anton, I mean as a person?

Klamp UndainHes a rational and down to earth man. He is not cruel but he can

be quite cold. Sometimes I think the only person in the world that could and can

soften him is Queen Jessena, maybe because she understands him and handles his

temper. *smirks*

Klamp UndainWere getting to the fortress, there *he points ahead and the top

of the enormous castle can be seen.*

*Anaxenite and Joan look in amazement.*

*When they reach the castle, they are very well received. Klamp orders a patrol to

go back to where the attack had happened to collect the two guards they have lost

for a proper funeral and to bury the thugs who had died. Anaxenite and Joan are

taken to a guests bedroom.*

Joan *appreciating the bedroom* - They sure take good care of their guests, dontthey? *Ana doesnt say a thing* Ana you look worried. Whats wrong?

Anaxenite Im wondering how Thor is doing. I hope hes alright.
