Hello.Good Morning.Today I will tell you the story of IBALON, the story of three brave heroes. But for now I will introduce to you the main characters of the story.

Baltog He is a hero who came from Botavora of the brave clan of Lipod.

He is a mysterious man who had a power to make someone blind.

He is an adventurer who built house, cultivate and plant a crops of Gabi inside the forest of Ibalon.

Handyong Second hero who came to Ibalon.he built a community in Isarog city of Ibalon.He invented one kind of water Vehicle.His follower named a kind of rice after his name for his victory.He is a good leader. In his term, a discovery of things are continued by help of Ginantong, Hablom and Sural.

BantongA kind soldier who fought Giant Rabot.

A man who use his wisdom before fighting.

Good observer.

Now, The story goes like this

Baltog Adventure

When the hero Baltog came to the rich land of Ibalon, many monsters still roamed around in its very dark forest. Baltog, born in Boltavara to the brave clan of Lipod, was the first to cultivate the fields in the rich land of Ibalon.

Then the Tandayag attacked and destroyed Baltogs fields and crops. The Tandayag was a monstrous wild boar but the hero, Baltog was not afraid.

Had big jawbones & big fangs.

A big boar who loves to destroy things after eating.

One night, he waited for the Tandayag and wrestled with it with all his might. The Tandayag had very long fangs. The earth shook at the Tandayags step.

Baltog: Who are you? Why you are here?Tandayag: Im here to destroy all your crops.

The people celebrated when they learned of the victory of their king Baltog. The clans of Panicuason and Asog came over to marvel at the monstrous wild boar in Ibalon.

Handyong Adventure

Handyong is the second hero who came in the land of Ibalong. Together with his men, he had to fight thousands of battles, and face many dangers to defeat the monsters.

They first fought the Dambuhala, For ten months, they fought without rest.

Dambuhala one-eyed monster with tree neck who came from land of Ponong.

He doesnt let anyone come into his teritory.

Handyong: Poor monster, this will be your last day here. I will destroy you.

Monsters: Lets see who will be the mighty one.

And they never stopped fighting until all these monsters were killed.

Handyong and his men made their next attack against the Tiburon. They continued fighting until the defeat of the very last Tiburon.

Tiburon Giant flying sharks

which had hardly flesh and saw like teeth that could crush rocks.

They tamed the fierce tamaraws. They drove away the giant Sarimaw which was larger than an elephant and very fierce. They used their spears and arrows to kill all the crocodiles which were bigger than boats.

The savage monkeys were frightened and hid when they saw the rivers and swamps of Ibalon turn red with blood.

The Search for Oryol

So alone and unafraid, Handyong decide to look for Oryol in the heart of the forest. He followed the beautiful voice and was almost enchanted by it in his pursuit.

Handyong: Now, among our enemies, Oryol was the hardest to kill. We must kill it, to have our peace here.

Man: Yes we need to kill it.

OryolA serpent who can transform in a beautiful lady.

Had a very good voice.

Became an ally of Handyong.

Days and nights passed until Oryol came to admire Handyongs bravery and gallantry. Then the serpent helped the hero to conquer monsters, thus restoring peace to the entire Ibalong.

Handiong built a town in Isarog and a season of progress followed. Under Handiongs leadership, the people planted rice which they named after him. He built the first boat to ride the waves of Ibalon seas. Because of his good example, inventors came forth from his people.

Ginantong made the plow, harrow, and other farming tools. Hablom invented the first loom for weaving abaca clothes. Dinahon, an Aeta, created the stove, cooking pot, earthen jar, and other kitchen utensils.

The brilliant Sural thought of the alphabet and started to write on white rock. It was a golden period in Ibalon when even slaves were respected under the laws of Handiong.

But there came the big flood freed by Unos, with earthquakes and the eruption of the volcanoes of Hantik, Kolasi, and Isarog. Rivers dried up and the seas receded. The earth parted, mountains sank, and many towns in Ibalon were destroyed.

Bantongs Adventure

Then appeared the giant Rabot, half-man half-beast, with terrible powers. Bantong, Handiongs good friend, was ordered to kill the new monster in Ibalon.

Then appeared the giant Rabot, Bantong, Handiongs good friend, was ordered to kill the new monster in Ibalon.

Man:1: Oh no!!! Theres a Giant Rabot.Man1: How we can do that? His too powerful compare us.Man2: We need to defeat himMan2 : We need the help of Bantong.Bantong: Yes! Im willing to help.

He took with him a thousand warriors to attack Rabots den. Bantong used his wisdom against Rabot. He did not attack the giants den right away but instead observed Rabots ways. He saw many rocks around the den. They were people turned into rock by Rabot.

Bantong also learned that Rabot loved to sleep during the day and stayed awake at night. So, he waited. When Rabot was already sleeping very soundly, Bantong came hear him. He cut the giant into two with his very sharp bolo and without any struggle, Rabot died.

All: Go Bantong!!!!

Ibalong was at peace once more.
