This add-on is the industry’s first hybrid solution that easily transitions the most resource-intensive processes into the cloud for peak performance, scalability and minimized upfront investment. Our Technology Ephesoft Cloud HyperExtender elevates the OCR phase of the Ephesoft Transact content processing function (responsible for 75% CPU utilization) and executes it in a highly optimized, scalable cloud infrastructure. This results in a dramatic increase in the overall performance – over 10X processing speed – for both on-premises and cloud-based Transact systems. High Performance Without High Capital Investment Capable of processing up to 3,400 pages per minute, the Ephesoft Cloud HyperExtender is ideally suited to organizations that perform services such as insurance claims processing and loan origination, and others that require high document throughput without investing in a large, expensive server-based hardware infrastructure. It runs on the AWS platform for the best performance. Variable Workload But Not Variable Performance Ephesoft Cloud HyperExtender can be enabled in response to a sudden change in the Ephesoft Transact system workload. This makes it uniquely capable of ensuring that overall system performance is not degraded in response to the additional volume of documents which require processing. Use case examples include insurance companies processing a large volume of claims in response to a weather- related event or seasonal variations in loan volumes in the mortgage sector.

Server-side Encryption
Dedicated and segregated buckets of data for
each customer are kept in a specific region. A
server-side encrypted bucket with managed keys
ensures security.
