Case Study - Theo

Theodore Williams was 17 when he took part in Envision at his school, Cardinal Pole in Homerton, London.

• “Just before I joined Envision I didn’t do anything

outside of lessons - volunteering was something completely new to me. I got involved at the start just because there wasn’t much else to do - I was just following the crowd.”

• “It had a huge effect on me too – I became much more interested in environmental issues. This has affected my career because I got interested in sustainable buildings and architecture. Before Envision I was completely ignorant towards the world around me. I didn’t want to do anything. I just did nothing. I didn’t know anyone outside of school, no adults apart from my mum.”
