SOLAR PANELS AND LIGHT SENSORS Install a sistem based on a light sensor what turn on the lights when it isn´t solar

light. The energy to turn on the lights come from solar panels installed on the rooftop of the buildings.

HARVESTING RAINWATER Take the water by a machine situed at the rooftop of the buildings that collects the

water rain and that purifies and distributes it to all neighbors. Canada, India and Israel are examples.

HIGH-PROFILE GREEN BUILDINGS Build bildings with ecological materials, eco-friendly structures and insulated

windows to not waste the heating. An example of this kind of buildings is the San Francisco Federal Building.

RECYCLE PACKAGING People take the finished medicines to chemist´s to recycle the packaging of

it. REFILL MEDICINE´S PACKAGINGS

When a canister of medicine finish, you can go to the chemist´s and the pharmacist refill it instead of buying a new packaging.

RAISE AWARENESS At school, raise awareness to alumns making funny environmentally

activities.

VEGETABLE GARDEN At schools that have much land, we can use the free space to plant vegetable

gardens where alumns can work. An example of a school with a vegetable garden is “Nuestra Señora del Sagrario” in Navarrete.

SENSOR HEATING Install temperature sensors at classes so when it reaches a certain

temperature the radiators turn off.

EFFICENT PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION Use new metro systems to ride to work like in Dubai or Switzerland. Transit authorities in Mexico City, Instanbul and Los Angeles have cleared the

way for buses by simply putting them in their own lanes. BIKE LANES

Create separated bike paths, provide parking ( and even solar-powered showers), institute bike-sharing programs, and allow cyclists to bring their bikes on buses for longer trips.

USE OF PESTICIDES Try not to use pesticides in agriculture to make vegetables healthier.

COMPOST FOOD WASTE Use compost food waste as fertilizer to take advantage of organic

waste.
