Magnetic bearings and bearing sensors:
Composed of both permanent and electromagnets with unique,
patented design for compact size and reliable high performance
Enables precisely controlled frictionless blower shaft rotation on a

orbits and thrust/axial information in real time to bearing controller

Variable Frequency Drive:
IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) is an inverter that converts
DC voltage into an adjustable three-phase phase matched AC volt-
age
Signals from the generator/bearing controller determine the invert-
er output frequency, voltage and phase, thereby regulating the
current to match the grids electrical power. The speed of the tur-
bine is matched to optimize the generators performance as the
internal heat source varies throughout the day
Converts mechanical energy back into electrical energy. In the case
of Power failure, this patented control scheme allows for a normal
de-levitation and shutdown
Soft start module:
Significantly reduces high in-rush current at startup, providing ad-
vantages to line power systems and reducing thermal stress at the
stator

Turbo Expanders:
Verdicorp Turbo Expander: These expanders can be configured in either stand alone or multiple ex-
pander configurations. With the elimination of oil, the Verdicorp oil-free
expanders simplify ORC system designs, lower manufacturing costs, and
with their intelligent control, offer the optimum in system efficiency. The
Verdicorp ORC expander can operate with temperatures as low as 100
deg.C, making it ideal for solar and geothermal applications.
