• 50 % of city procurement process’s includes environmental criteria by 2015
• 100 of city procurement process’s includes environmental criteria by 2020
– Environmental criteria can be an absolute requirement or benchmark criteria
• All adminstratative units and subsidiary corporations are educated for sustainable procurements
Environmental awarness and responsibility
• All work communties has educated eco support person• Sustainable lifestyle choices are easy to make with supporting services• Decion makers and city employee’s environmental awarness enables
responsible activities and decions

• To implement city’s enviromental policy and economic development strategy city searches for partnerships with companies and other stakeholders
• Ecocompass –environmental management system is well known tool for SME’s and it is available for all companies in Helsinki Metropolitan Area
• Baltic sea challange has 300 partners. City helps the partners in implementation of effective procetion of the Baltic sea
• Environmental programme or plan is made for all major events arranged in Helsinki
