Strengths Weakness Opportunities Threats

The project will give better living in the inhabitants of Davao City. It will lessen the case of sickness cause by water from floods; dengue, skin irritation, leptospirosis etc…

The huge canals will lightened the traffic scenario in down town areas of Davao.

The Project will also attract more business investors to invest business in Davao city that will provide more working opportunities for the Dabawenyos.

The project is cost hundreds of millions that needs to be priorities for the annual budget.

The LGU will look for a relocation sites for the inhabitants that will be affected by the construction of the drainages and canals.

The LGU will also have to allocate funds for the just compensation of the buildings and properties that will be damage by the said project

The LGU of Davao may implore the assistance of the National Government through DPWH in the implementation and funding of the project

The International Project supporting agencies are also can render their assistance; KALAHI-CIDSS, JICA etc…

Even the Private Business sector may also render their assistance in terms of project funding.

The project will not be sustainable without the cooperation of the inhabitants who lived near the drainages and canals if they continue throwing garbage anywhere, still the problem will continue

Global warming that causes too much rain resulting to flood that is not manageable to control even if the canals and drainages are existing.
