• The idea behind the course was to make the participants:

TERI ENVIS RP has taken Gurgaon district for
National Environmental Survey (NES).
TERI ENVIS-RP Conducted a meeting with all
Delhi based ENVIS RP regarding State level
NES data collection
Attended workshop at Kufri, Shimla and
Collecting secondary data of Gurgaon district
from authentic sources e.g Census,
Government sources etc.
Prepared mailing list/directory of Gurgaon
district officials
In this Map of Land use land cover is
shown where this includes kharif, rabi
and zaid crop lands along with areas
under double or triple crops which
constitutes 81.98%. On the other hand
the built up urban area 5.59 % and
rural is 1.62% in 2011-2012, the
availability of water bodies is 0.37% in
the same year.

• Report on “smart Cities in India” was present ed in the training program on ‘Integrated Environment Management of Cities and Audit of Urban Planning and Management Practices, Jaipur
• Report on “Up growth analysis on Biofuels” was presented in international COLLNET 2014 conference , Germany.
• Educational tour for children to build awarness on biomass gasifier, solar
charging stations, etc received huge acclamation from parents.
• World Environment Day 2017 conducted environment quest and activities to
aware kids.
• World Ozone day 2017 generated lots of enthusiasm in students.
