WATER
Residences-All of the city refuse drains into the main central Nallah which goesinto the Makrana dam in the north of the city. There is no sewage network and a combination of open and closeddrains are used everywhere.
In rainy season the suspended solids in water are more but it hasnothing to do with pollution.
Industries-Small industries located within the city discharge the waste in thesame manner as residence.Large scale industries have well maintained effluent treatmentplants with aquatic life flourishing in the clear treated water. The treated water is then discharged in the nearby water bodies.
