We hope you have a fantastic day and don’t forget to share your pictures with us using the hashtag #allypallysummerfest
Alexandra Palace is an iconic North London landmark that welcomes over three million visitors a year to the Palace and the Park – but two fires, two World Wars, and the passage of time have taken their toll on the building. Although much loved for sporting events, exhibitions and concerts, around 40% of the building is currently derelict - including the Palace’s most historic spaces, the BBC Studios where broadcast television first started; and the Victorian Theatre.
The Theatre is a hidden gem. It remains frozen in time, with much of the original décor and stage machinery still in place. It was created to showcase opera, musicals, plays and all kinds of entertainment – ‘wonder and spectacle’ for the people. It even hosted early cinema screenings.
HELP US BRING THE VICTORIAN THEATREBACK TO LIFE
Alexandra Park and Palace Charitable Trust is a registered charityCharity Registration Number: 281991
The East Wing Restoration Project will transform these historic areas of the Palace. Re-opening in spring 2018, the Theatre and BBC Studios - linked by the fully refurbished East Court - will offer much more for people of all ages to see and do.
We have secured funding for the project from Heritage Lottery Fund and Haringey Council, but we now need your support to reach our target and bring these historic spaces back to life.
Alexandra Palace is a registered charity, committed to preserving the building and Park for the public – now, and for generations to come.
The Restoration Project will enable us to create an adaptable performance space for an audience of up to 1,300, while retaining the original character and feel of the Theatre.
This is your opportunity to help bring this magical space back to life. Every donation we receive will go directly towards the restoration of the Theatre. And every donation will be credited on our donor board in the restored East Court – a permanent tribute to those who played a part in transforming Alexandra Palace.
EVERY DONATIONWILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE £25
Give a donation of £25 or more, and your name will be credited on our donor board in the restored East Court.
DONORBOARD

Prams. We spend a large part of our early lives in them andthen splashes of our later lives pushing them. In between, these titans of the pavement lie gathering dust in ourgarages and sheds, unloved and often forgotten.
Well, not anymore. Club de Fromage asks you to bring outyour prams and revive a Great British tradition – that greattradition of bombing about with a pram on a racetrack.
Head to info point in Palm Court to register
