  • JOiN THE WiNNER’S pOdium iN 20212021 will mark the 15th year of the acclaimed Water Industry Awards where we will once again recognise the excellent work of UK water companies.

Make sure your team, company or colleague is one of those we will be saluting at the 2021 awards.

With 24 categories to choose from there is something to reflect all aspects of water industry endeavour. To reflect the changing focus of the sector and highlight the huge scope of water industry achievements we have added four new categories this year:

    • Woman of the Year• Water Retailer of the Year• Water Efficiency Initiative of the Year • Outstanding Contribution to Environmental Improvement

These join last year’s new award categories:• Women in Water• Net Zero Carbon and Rising Star

The awards will take place on 27 May 2021, when the whole industry will meet to celebrate the outstanding work of UK water companies and their supply chains. As with other large-scale events it is still to be determined whether the Water Industry Awards May 2021 will be able to take place as an in-person event. Should it not be possible for us to stage the physical ceremony, the Awards will continue to reunite the sector at an online celebration where our 2021 shortlist and winners will receive the full recognition they deserve.

Organised by the people behind the leading UK business media brand Water & Wastewater Treatment, and linked event Utility Week Live, the awards have become a must-attend event in the water sector’s calendar and are highly prized within the industry.

All companies can enter − large or small − as the awards recognise outstanding innovation and best practice across the industry, no matter the size of the company or the scale of the project. All entries will be assessed by an esteemed panel of industry experts and you can read more about them in the following pages.

We hope this guide provides you with all the information you will need to enter the awards. All that remains is to wish you good luck!
