INTRODUCTION

MARKETING INTERACTIVE is proud to present its first-ever Indonesian edition of the Agency of the Year Awards. The programme seeks to recognise and reward the very best agencies who are producing outstanding work for their clients, and who are pushing the marketing and advertising industry forward with ever-increasing innovation and creativity.

We are delighted to open the entries for our 2019 awards, with submissions accepted from all agencies based in Indonesia. Entries will be judged by an independent jury comprising entirely of respected senior client-side marketers who will be looking at each agency’s business performance, campaign successes, staff development and retention, and their contribution to the industry.

Judges will individually score each entry and their scores will determine the shortlist. The jury will then meet to review, discuss and debate the finalists’ entries to establish the winners. Gold, Silver and Bronze titles will be awarded in each category, as well as a Local Hero trophy going to the highest scoring local agency in each category shortlist.

The top 5 performing agencies across all categories will make up the shortlist for the prestigious Agency of the Year title. The top 5 performing local agencies will make up the shortlist for the Local Hero of the Year award. The jury will review these two additional shortlists to confirm the winners of each title.

Winners will be announced at the Agency of the Year Awards gala dinner on 23 May 2019.

SUBMISSION OVERVIEW

The entry deadline is 13 March 2019.

EligibilityThe eligibility period runs from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018.

Categories are open to all agencies based in Indonesia.

Programmes/campaigns/systems/initiatives showcased by agencies should have demonstrable results from the period of 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2018. Initiatives or strategies developed and implemented prior to this period are also eligible, provided the impact/results were measured during the eligibility period.

Work must have been conceptualised, created and delivered from Indonesia for the Indonesia market and/or Asia Pacific region.

All recommended information is designed to aid the jury in understanding the finalists’ total performance. As such, judges must agree to a confidentiality statement, and we ask that you clearly indicate any confidential information in red text or highlight in red. This marked information will not be made public or disseminated beyond the judging panel in any way.

Entry Submission & Scoring for People Categories (categories 21 to 30)Please refer to the specific category criteria to understand the key areas that the judges will be scoring your entry against.

Your Entry Submission Document should contain a maximum 2,000 words (total) with evidence to support and address each of the criteria points outlined in the ‘categories and criteria’ section of the Entry Guidelines document. Please ensure all areas mentioned are covered within your submission as the judging panel will be looking for these details.

Each criteria bullet point will hold a maximum potential value of 10 points. When reviewing individual entries, the judges will decide how many points to award against every criterion out of 10, so please ensure each area is fully covered in order to achieve your highest possible score.

If you are submitting more than one entry, you should tailor each submission to its respective category guidelines to help the judging panel fully understand your work in the correct context and award a maximum number of potential points.

An Integrated Marketing Agency should offer the conceptualisation and management of an integrated campaign across a range of verticals.

30. LOCAL HERO OF THE YEAR *TIDAK MENERIMA PENGAJUANThe title of “Local Hero” will be awarded to the highest performing local agency in each category. A local agency should have been established in Indonesia, and continue to operate here with Indonesia as its HQ. The agency can be affiliated with a global company as long as the ownership is independent.

The top 5 performing “Local Heroes” will be shortlisted for the overall Local Hero of the Year award with the eventual winner chosen by our independent panel of judges.

Penghargaan “Local Hero” atau “Pahlawan Lokal” akan diberikan kepada agensi lokal dengan kinerja tertinggi di setiap kategori. Agen lokal adalah agensi yang didirikan di Indonesia, dan terus beroperasi di sini dengan Indonesia sebagai kantor pusatnya. Agensi tersebut dapat berafiliasi dengan perusahaan global selama kepemilikannya bersifat independen. 31. AGENCY OF THE YEAR * * TIDAK MENERIMA PENGAJUAN This category will recognise the most successful performing agencies across all categories. The top 5 performing agencies will be shortlisted for the overall Agency of the Year title with the eventual winner chosen by our independent panel of judges.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

ImportantPlease note that after the submission deadline, all information on the Entry Details and Core Submission Document, including company names, credits and so on, are FINAL and can NOT be changed and/or transferred to another party. Details will be presented accordingly on the shortlist announcements as well as on trophies and/or any other awards-related materials. Entrants who make any changes after the submission period will be charged an additional 10% of the entry fee.

Fees are non-refundable. Should your entry be shortlisted, the entry details you provide on your Entry Details and Core Submission Document will be used on all awards materials including the website, awards presentation slides and trophy (presented on the awards night, should you win). The reflected text will be case-sensitive.

The judges’ decisions are final.

The overall category shortlists will be decided using the following scoring. The top 5 performing agencies will be shortlisted for the overall categories with the eventual winners chosen by our independent panel of judges.

Gold – 4 pointsSilver – 2 pointsBronze – 1 pointFinalist - 0.5 points (for Local Hero only)

Without prior notice, MARKETING INTERACTIVE reserves the right to add, merge, dissolve or revise any categories should it be deemed necessary. Should a category or categories be dissolved, entries in that category/categories will not be refunded. In cases whereby the number of participating entries is less than five (5) in a single category, MARKETING INTERACTIVE reserves the right to cancel the category.

The entrant agrees that MARKETING INTERACTIVE, www.marketing-interactive.com, and Lighthouse Independent Media will not accept responsibility for errors or omissions reproduced on marketing-interactive.com, or for work lost or damaged under any circumstances.
