MSME Schemes• Scheme for Capacity Building - Scheme for capacity building,

strengthening of database and advocacy by industry/ enterpriseassociations, as envisaged in the promotional package for Micro and SmallEnterprises (MSEs).

• Participation in the International Exhibitions/ Fairs - For registered Small&Micro manufacturing enterprises with DI/DIC.

• Purchase and Price Preference Policy - This is administered through theSingle Point Registration Scheme of NSIC. Under this, 358 items arereserved for exclusive purchase from MSME by Central Government.

• Assistance for Strengthening of Training Infrastructure of existing andnew Entrepreneurship Development Institutions. The scheme will beimplemented by the Small Industry Development Organization (MSME-DO) which has the responsibility of promoting and developing the MSMEsector in the country through State Governments/Union Territories.

Rajiv Gandhi Swavlamban Rojgar Yojna

• Delhi Khadi & Village Industries Board developed and sponsored thisscheme to promote and expand permissible industries, professions,tertiary and service sector in Delhi.

• Maximum quantum of loan assistance under this scheme is ₹ 3 lakh.Beneficiary contribution will be 10% for General category and 5% forSC/ST/ OBC/Women/Ex. Servicemen.

• 15% subsidy is provided on the project cost with a maximum amount of ₹7,500/- per entrepreneur/individual.

Delhi Financial Corporation Schemes

• General Scheme: small scale units to medium scale can avail the loan ofup to 5 Cr for acquisition of land, construction of building, plant andmachinery, pre-operatives and other assets to following eligible units.Beneficiary contribution will be 25% of the project cost up to 10 lakh and33.33% for loan above Rs 10.00 lakh.

• Scheme for Financing of Land & Building under Relocation: TheCorporation introduced this Scheme for providing financial assistance ofup to 5 Cr to the entrepreneurs for financing the Cost of land andconstruction of factory building on land allotted by DSIIDC underrelocation Scheme of the Govt.

• Scheme for Business Loan under Relocation: Loan of up to 25 lakh isprovided for proposed expenditure like installation of power connection,reconditioning of existing machinery, shifting expenses, renovation ofbuilding, working capital, repayment of unsecured temporary loans takenfor above purposes incurred up to one year before the date of application.

• Equipment Finance Scheme: To assist the existing SSI and service sectorunits for acquisition of machinery/equipment, both indigenous andimported, loan amount of up to 5 Cr is provided to an existing unit whichis in operation for a period of at least 3 years and should have earnedprofits during 2 proceeding years.

• Acquisition of ISO-9000 series certification: by existing profit making SSIunits can be financed for costs of acquiring equipments & expensestowards consultancy/documentation etc.

Women Entrepreneur Cell

• The Cell exists to encourage women entrepreneurs and helps them in gettingtheir cases cleared on priority.

• Implements self employment scheme of industry department to imparttraining of 12 months duration in Fashion Designing for women.

• A two years course in Paper Crafts & Papier Mache items is being run in thePaper Craft and Papier Mache Centre, besides some short term TrainingCourses exclusively for women.

• Financial assistance of Rs. 1.00 lakh to women entrepreneurs in individualcases for self employment is provided to set up manufacturing unit withsubsidy component 15% to General Category & 25% to DisadvantageCategories.
