Progress Update - 2.0 Release

• 2.0 Registry release scheduled for September 14-15 – Includes expanded Episodic features, Original/Version Language,

new Manifestation and Compilation types, Sunset of 1.0 – The release has been delayed due to Web UI issues – The full release process runs ≈ 32 hours, which is why it is

scheduled to run for 2 days – Release copies of the .NET and Java SDKs and accompanying

documentation are available now upon request for those who would like to begin work on 2.0 integrations

– 2.0-formatted Excel templates are available for those who are planning bulk data submissions in the near future

– An updated CFF registration tool (with direct support for Manifestations) will be released with 2.0

An initial workshop to kickoff the effort was held on July 31

The DEG Media and Content Operations (MCO) committee is leading the effort

The agenda focused on utilizing what's been presented and circulated by DEG and EMA over past 18 months

The MCO advocated for EIDR incorporation throughout, as appropriate
