ICAS ASSESSMENTS This year our school will once again be participating in the ICAS Assessments. ICAS is developed by UNSW Global, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of New South Wales, with over 35 years’ experience in educa-tional assessments. ICAS is designed to target students’ higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Sci-ence, Writing, Spelling and Digitial Technologies. Every student will receive a certificate and an online result re-port. Top performers will be eligible for medals and are invited to attend special award ceremonies to have their academic excellence publicly recognised. The assessments are suitable for students wishing to extend themselves academically and take up the personal challenge of competing in an international assessment. ICAS Assessments are now online. This allows greater accessibility for students and faster delivery of results. To consent to your child’s participation please complete the permission slip below and return to the school office by Wednesday, 31st July, 2019. All exam fees are to be paid online via UNSW Global. Online payments close on Wednesday, 31st July, 2019. Visit the new online Parent Payment System to make a direct payment to UNSW Global. Type in unsw.global/parentpay into a browser.
