II. General

In order to gain access to the Media-Saturn’s IT infrastructure your Apple iOS mobile device needs to be enrolled

into the Enterprise Mobility Management System Workspace ONE. This document describes all step by step the

enrollment process for Apple iOS mobile devices (iPhone/iPad) into Workspace ONE.

III. Checklist and requirements

Before you can enroll your Apple iOS mobile device into Workspace ONE you must meet the following requirements:

1 Your mobile device must have a battery charge condition of at least 50%.

2 Please proceed to update your device to the newest mobile operating system version. This enrollment guide was created using the latest iOS version (iOS 12). Some screens can be different if an older OS version is used during the enrollment process. You can follow the steps described in this article to update your device: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204204

3 If a Media-Saturn mail account is already present on your mobile device, please remove it. A step by step instruction can be found in chapter 6. Deleting your email account will NOT delete your emails or contact list!

4 In case you do not have an email account yet, please contact the IT helpdesk (-3000)

5 For the QR-Activation-Code, please open https://www.mobility.media-saturn.com/ on another device, and scan it with your mobile device.

6 An Apple account (ID) must be used. If you do not own an Apple ID, please create one at the following website: https://appleid.apple.com

7 A SIM card needs to be available and inserted into the iPhone

IV. Setting up your Apple iOS mobile device

This chapter describes how to setup a new iOS mobile device. If you already know how to setup iOS mobile devices you may skip this chapter. In order to make the enrollment and integration of your mobile device as simple as possible, a mobility website has been provided (https://mobility.media-saturn.com). It contains important information on mobility @ Media-Saturn.

Press the HOME button to continue

Select a language Select your country or region

Press “Set Up Manually”

Make sure that a SIM card is present

in your mobile device. Without it, the activation process will fail. You can use mobile networks or your private WiFi in order to activate your device.

Press “Continue” Optional: Configure Touch

ID. For the moment select “Set up Touch ID Later” and “Don’t use” in the next screen

Enter your desired passcode. Please

do not use a simple passcode such as „123456“, you would have to choose a more secure one later on.

Set Up as New iPhone/iPad, or

see iCloud Backup Guide

Enter your Apple ID and password

then press “Next” *

Accept the terms of use by pressing

“Agree”

Select “Continue”

Select „Enable Location Services“

Select “Don’t use iCloud Keychain”

Select “Set up later in Settings”

Select “Don’t Share”

* Please note that after step 10 you can optionally configure two-factor authentication in the next screen

Your mobile device is now configured.

V. Enroll into Workspace ONE

To enroll into the Enterprise Mobility Management system Workspace ONE, please follow these steps.

Please open the „App Store“

Select search. Next tap on the search

box and enter “intelligent hub“.

The following result should show

up.

Download the “Intelligent Hub”

App.

If asked, press “Install”

If asked, enter your Apple ID

credentials

Start the Intelligent Hub

App and select QR Code. Alternatively select “Email Address” and enter your company e-mail address.

Allow the app to access the camera.

Scan this QR Code

Please enter your Windows account

credentials then press “Next”

Select “Next” Select “Allow”

After a few moments, a profile

will be downloaded. Press “Close”

Next you will be redirected to the

previous page, then you need to navigate to the Home screen

From the Home screen, open

“Settings”

A new notification will show up below

the AppleID information. Press “Install Downloaded Profile”

Select „Install“

Enter your device passcode or use

any other authentication method if it’s configured

Select “Install” Select „Install“

Select „Trust“

Select “Done”

When this screen appears, wait a few

minutes until the device gets the necessary configuration. Alternatively you can press “Device Manager”

If you receive a popup window

asking for your Exchange password, please enter your Windows account password in order to receive E-Mails

Several screens with installation of

Web-Workspace One, Yammer and VMware Tunnel will show up. Select „Install” on all dialogs only if you’re connected to WiFi. Otherwise your mobile data plan will be charged.

Open the Home screen where you

will see a progress for the previously mentioned apps. Next press on the “Hub” icon.

Press “Continue” and “Done” on the

next screen

Select “Allow”

Press “I understand”

Press “I agree”

Your device is successfully

enrolled. Click on “This device” to find more information.

Here is a status of the device.

VI. Removal of already existing Mail account

Before enrolling your mobile device into Workspace ONE you must delete any recently installed Workspace Services.

Please follow the next steps. Deleting your email account will NOT delete your emails or contact list!

Go to „Settings“. Select „Passwords

& Accounts“ Choose your Media Saturn account

that you want to delete.

Tap on “Delete Account“.

Confirm by tapping “Delete from My

iPhone“.

The account is now removed

VII. Password Change

Every three months, the E-Mail password needs to be changed. After you have selected a new password on your

computer, you need to change it on the mobile device as well.

Go to „Settings“. Select „Passwords

& Accounts“ Select your Media-Saturn Account.

Select your Email Address in the row

“Account”.

Enter your new password.
