Welcome to Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®), an innovative and inclusivelearning community dedicated to your success and completion. We are delighted that you have selected our college as the place to continue your education and career development. Our faculty, staff and administrators are proud to offer “one door with many options” to assist you in reaching your educational goals.

A Tri-C education is both powerful and valuable. You can earn an associate degree and transfer to a four-year institution or secure a job in the local community. Our certificate programs allow you to choose a technical path to quickly update your skills or pursue a new field of study.

Offering more than 1,000 credit courses and 190 degree and certificate programs, the College has the lowest tuition in the state and prepares students to thrive in the new global economy. Starting your education at Tri-C can translate into an average savings of $13,000 in your first two years compared to starting at an Ohio public four-year institution.

Tri-C is redesigning the student experience and working to meet you where you are. With the adoption of an intentional case management approach to student success, we provide students with clearer pathways to degree and certificate completion. Classes are held in locations throughout the community, close to home or work, with day, evening and weekend options.

I invite you to take full advantage of all the resources we have to offer. As you move forward on your educational journey, open the door and see where success takes you.

PrerequisitesCourse prerequisites are established by each department to ensure that the student has an adequate background to be successful in the course. A ‘C’ grade is required in the prerequisite course. Successful completion of a prerequisite course will be checked at the time of registration.

Note: Quarter courses taken prior to Fall 1998 to meet prerequisite requirements will require an exception form from a counselor/academic department or may be done electronically when you register online.

You can withdraw online, provided you don’t have any registration holds, by fax* or in-person. If you withdraw from your class(es), you may still be responsible for all or a percentage of the tuition charge. You can check your account status on My Tri-C Space. my
