Shot in the Omo Valley Ethiopia, this campaign reflects the stunning raw beauty of an ancient people. A journey into the land of the Mursi Tribe.
My deep fascination with tribes and indigenous people lead us to Africa for our first campaign. I had been researching the tribes of the Omo and knew that’s where we would be headed. It was such an amazing journey with such incredibly beautiful people, however we had no idea how hard it would be. From being mistaken for illegal journalists and followed by undercover police for days in the capital Addis, to being harassed by hardcore mafia in Jinka. We knew it would all be worth it though once we reached the Mursi Tribe. A huge thank you to the amazing photographer Sarah Christensen, our dear friend and guide Emanuel Cheneke, and also the Mursi Tribe for a truly amazing experience.
