Our teamThe Hollies employs approximately 25 staff all of whom are trained in the key aspects of care delivery, to ensure the provision of a safe, quality service to our client group.
Our staff also benefit from a vocational training programme, and are regularly supported by our Quality Matters Team to embark upon specialist mental health training, with an emphasis on internal promotion and staff development.
Full details of the training undertaken by our staff can be obtained from the Home Manager.
LocationThe Hollies is located close to Junction 28 of the M1, allowing clients to take advantage of all of the local facilities in the small town of South Normanton.
AccommodationThe Hollies offers all single room accommodation in a variety of formats, ranging from traditional single bedroom accommodation to 3 semi-independent living flats, which include residents’ kitchenette with domestic style fittings.
Services The service at The Hollies allows clients to receive care and support with regard to their mental health needs, living in one of our single person flats allowing clients who wish to retain or regain significant levels of independence as a pre-cursor to returning to mainstream society the opportunity to do so.
Prospective clients Prospective clients of The Hollies will be encouraged to view all available vacant accommodation, and to visit for a trial day to truly experience the home. In advance of a place being offered, an individual care plan assessment focusing on individual choice and needs will be structured, the emphasis on involvement of the individual to focus on developing their personal skills and regaining a sense of purpose and independence.
Activities All of our homes offer a full and varied activity programme, much of which is contained within the home, but using the benefit of our on-site transport, also allows clients access to the local community. Whilst we very much regard it as our responsibility to provide a safe and secure environment, we will encourage all clients to participate in all that we offer, welcoming you to enjoy life at PrimeLife, The Hollies.
