No. The course materials have been created by the teacher specifically for this course and will be distributed in class. Do I need a certain level of English? Yes. You need to have reached at least level B2/C1 (CEFR) and be able to provide evidence for this. What is the CEFR? The CEFR (or GeR in German) is the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. You can read more about it on the ZFA’s homepage under Niveaustufen. Is there an exam at the end of the course? Yes. The assessment consists of the written exam which will take place on the last course day (5 October 2012) and the oral part scheduled for 2 October 2012. Will I get a certificate if I pass the exam? Yes, you will be issued a certificate called Veranstaltungsbescheinigung to confirm that you successfully completed the course. Please note that you will not receive any CPs for this course.
