“Reading a dialogue: Moving around town”

1. John is helping a tourist to move around town. Read the dialogue and observe the map. John está ayudando a un turista a moverse por la ciudad. Lee el diálogo y observa el mapa.

Tourist: Excuse me! Tourist: Oh, and can you tell me where the

bank is?

John: Can I help you? John: Yes. The bank is on Fourth Street.

Tourist: Yes, I need help. Where’s the bus

station?

Tourist: How do I get there?

John: The bus station is on First Street. John: Walk on First street, turn right on

Second Street, then turn left on Fourth

street.

Tourist: How do I get there? Tourist: Is it in front of the Main Square?

John: Walk straight on Third Street, go

past Second Street and turn right

on First Street.

John: Yes! The bank is in front of the Main

Square.

Tourist: Thank you. And the airport? Tourist: Thank you so much!

John: The airport is in next to the bus

station. Walk straight on First
