CEC together with Munster Rugby Club are delighted to run our English & Rugby with Munster Rugby Club in July 2017.

This course is open to students between the ages of 13 and 16 years who wish to develop their English language skills

and improve their rugby skills in a two week programme.

Children who participate in this course will experience combination of language tuition in the mornings and Munster rugby

training in the afternoons.

Students will have the chance to make new friends from all over the world, learn more about rugby values through the

medium of English which will include team work, respect and integrity. Central to this programme will be to ensure Rugby

skills are taught in a safe and controlled manner.

This programme includes:

20 Lessons English Language Tuition Weekly

Full-Board Accommodation with Host Family or in University Residence

One Full-Day Tour Weekly

Evening Social and Cultural Activities

25 hours of Rugby Training with Munster Rugby Club

Weekly Assessment by Teachers

Entrances on Tours included in Price

End of Course Diploma

Tour of Thomond Park Stadium

Possibility of Sitting the T.I.E examination

Transfers to and from Cork Airport

Group Leader Free with 12 Students

About Munster Rugby

Founded in 1880 Munster Rugby are two time winners of the

Heineken Cup and three time winners of the Rabo Direct Pro 12

league making them one of the top European teams.

Players for Munster Rugby include internationally renowned players

Simon Zebo, Donncha O Callaghan, Ronan O’Gara and the ex-

Captain of the national Irish rugby squad Paul O’Connell.

CIT - Munster Rugby Club’s Training Ground

This programme is based in a newly constructed building

in the prestigious Cork Institute of Technology, in a

tranquil suburb of Cork city. The campus is ideally laid

out for the specific needs of the programme with

classrooms, food hall and residence within easy walking

distance of each other.

Academic

Students attend classes in the mornings from 9.00am to

12.15pm. All students language abilities are assessed on

arrival and they are placed in classes with students of a

similar level.
