  • 1. Me, and where I come from!

2. L a n ca ste r (U n iv e r s it y ) It takes about 4 hours to travel by train to Lancaster from where I live.C h in n o r (H o m e ) Chinnor is about 45 minutes away from London.London! The capital city! I have to pass through London on my way to and from Lancaster on the train. I have to stop and change trains on the underground (tube) system. 3. C h in n o rChinnor is a village, so it's much smaller than London and Lancaster. In winter all the leaves fall off the trees, and the ground gets covered in them. The trees also look very different without their leaves. My dad keeps bees, so they live in my grandmother's garden and they make honey from the flowers there. 4. C h in n o rHere you can see some of the streets and shops in Chinnor it's a very small town! I live in a square, and my house is the one which is hidden behind the tree! 5. LancasterLancaster also looks different in summer and winter. It has a canal (a small, man-made river) which runs through the city.I play squash in Lancaster, and I'm part of the university squash team.At the parkIn the city My university campus 6. Around LancasterI like to go walking with my friends in the hills of the Lake District, which are quite close to Lancaster. Sometimes when it gets very cold it snows, although it usually snows more in Chinnor. 7.
