INTRODUCTION

English Language Society (ELS) is established with the aims of providing enrichment

activities and cultivating interest in the English Language among the members. EnglishLanguage Society plays a vital role in widening the pupils involvement in activities and

upgrading their proficiency in using English language. ELS also functions as a society to

train pupils in the skills of managing and organizing a society. English Language Society

also helps to promote unity, tolerance and fellowship among members.

OBJECTIVES

To provide enrichment activities and cultivating interest in the English

Language among the pupils.

To provide effective language learning opportunities to the usage and

practice of the language among the pupils.

To provide the opportunity to learn the language through ICT.

To give a balance education to the pupils with emphasis on both

academic and extra-curricular activities

To bring glory to school and its students while achieving the highest level of excellence

in fields concerning the English language.

MISSION

To cultivate consciousness about the important of English in todays society

among the students of SK Jerantut Jaya. To encourage the application of English in everyday life among the students of

SK Jerantut Jaya. To cultivate the feeling of love to the school, state, and nation.

To enable the members who have the same interest to enhance their talent and

potential. To stabilize the students academic excellence with adequate social mental

development. To build an English-oriented environment in SK Jerantut Jaya.

TARGETS To become the best and most active society in Jerantut District. To achieve good performance and results in school, district, state and national
