Rule #3 Stress on penultimate syllable:

fantastic, geographic,realistic,petition,relation

Rule #4 Stress on ante-penultimate syllable:

photography, biology,scalability,penalty,democracy,critical,canonical

Rule #5 For compound nouns, the stress is on the

first part:(n.) backbone,

For compound adjectives, on the second part:
