REQUIRED TEXTS for English 101 and 102 Students who enrolled in college English 101 and 102 are required to purchase their textbooks. There are many options for acquiring these texts. These options include the following: Renting physical copies — these must be sent back. Rentals can be made for 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, 6 months, or a year. Keep in mind you will only need the text for the semester the class is in session. Renting e-books — This works much like renting the physical copy; however, you do not send it back. You merely lose access to the text. Purchasing physical books and e-books — These are the most expensive options, but you may keep them.
