Design and EngineeringInternships

Software. Create embedded and PC software for measurement and control using C/C++, SQL, C#.net, Microsoft CE, embedded Linux, device drivers, web HTML/CSS, Javascript, and Jquery.

Electrical. Design digital and analog circuits for measurement and control RTUs and instruments.

Industrial. Analyze and improve product assembly, inventory control, and process workflow for manufacturing facilities. Analyze and improve customer satisfaction for products and services. Identify cost savings and quality improvements for products and services.

Testing. Develop hardware-in-the-loop tests using National Instruments Labview and Test-Stand. Develop automated tests for software products using custom and off-the-shelf test frameworks.

Mechanical. Design enclosures for electronics and instruments. Analyze physical properties of electronic and mechanical assemblies used in measurement and automation applications.

Power and Automation Leaders Full Time

The program is designed to prepare recent college graduates for professional careers in engineering or sales & marketing roles at ABB. Power and Automation Leaders (PAL) is a two-year entry level program providing three rotational assignments. Depending on their field of study, participants may choose assignments in our Technical Sales or Engineering tracks.
