1+1 Postgraduate Study at Birmingham

It is possible to undertake 1+1 Masters study between Beijing Jiaotong University (Year 1) and the University of Birmingham (Year 2)

Students will receive a Masters degree from both universities

Beijing Jiaotong students receive a 20% reduction in standard tuition fees, plus further bursaries are available

This is part of a wider collaboration between our two universities which covers research and collaborative PhD programmes

Specialised teaching: Railway Systems Engineering and Integration - taught at the University since 2005. 250 graduates from 25 countries awarded a qualification greatly valued by the railway industry.

Application Process• You must be registered on a postgraduate degree at BJTU• You must have either:

• IELTS = 6.0, with no less that 5.5 in any band; or• TOEFL IBT = 82, with no less than 19 in reading, 19 in

• We will automatically make an unconditional offer to you if you have the correct English level

• Students accept unconditional offer• We will automatically give you a 20% fee reduction and
