RE: 2016 Phase II Sanitary Sewer Televising Evaluation

    AEI JOB NO: 053-089-007

Cypress-Klein Utility District (the “District”) has authorized the evaluation of the existing sanitary sewer lines from the 2016 Phase II Sanitary Sewer Televising. Approximately 10,230 feet of 6-inch, 8-inch, 18-inch and 24-inch sanitary sewer pipe was televised. All televised sanitary sewer lines were evaluated and prioritized. A televising log was created for Phase II which shows the line priority and proposed rehabilitation techniques. The table below shows the priority level used in the evaluation process.

Priority Description 1 - Severe Heavy inflow/infiltration, cracks, sags, offsets,

    protruding services, and debris

2 - Moderate Medium inflow/infiltration, cracks, sags, offsets, protruding services, and debris

3 - Minor Small cracks, sags, offsets, and debris

In addition to prioritizing each line, preliminary rehabilitation recommendations were given to each line segment. Recommendations include external service repairs, point repairs and obstruction removals. The Phase II sanitary sewer lines were constructed in 1973 with age the system has deteriorated significantly. We recommended the installation of cured in place pipe (CIPP) because it helps stabilize the pipe, seal joints and service connections, prolongs the life of the entire line segment, and alleviates inflow and infiltration issues. A preliminary opinion of probable cost was performed for Phase II and is shown in the table below. Each estimate contains a 20% contingency.

    Phase IIA $211,000

Thank you. I got a hold of him today and I emailed and called Sarah to get a hold of attorney with mud 24 to get aagreement worked out. Dennis also mentioned that you would need to send a request to mud 24 for utilities for the 5acre tract. This tract has approx 55,000 sq ft of warehouse space.
