Karen Glancy will explore the ways infants and toddlers learn. She explores why relationships are the cornerstone of every infant and toddler development and how we, as educators, can foster young children’s learning through imaginative, engaging learning environments. Karen will share practical ideas for planning and creating engaging, nurturing learning environments, transitions and routines for infants and toddlers using everyday materials. When: Thursday 9 June, 9.30am – 2.30pm Where: Manningham City Council Chambers, 699 Doncaster Road, Doncaster. Free all day parking. Karen has extensive experience working in all early childhood settings and co-owns a gardening and landscaping business. Karen’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies and a Horticulture Certificate. She has a particular interest in the development of engaging learning environments using natural and recycled materials, sustainable living, education for the environment, gardening with children and outdoor learning environments.
