Psychosocial End-User
Engagement
For this project Psychosocial refers to the impact that a major incident has on the human beings caught in its way. It is the examination of the various components disrupted, ranging from those of the individual to the larger social systems and resources.
Defined
When dealing with CBRNE incidents some elements are common and include: ◦ Evacuations◦ Quarantines◦ Vaccinations◦ Family separation
What are the others? What is important for us to know?
CBRNE Introduced
The CBRNE Collaborative gives the end-user, the responder, and the volunteer a say in what is important to them when training and preparing to respond.
We want your experience, your knowledge, your ideas, and those materials you found most useful when in the field.
The Collaborative
These potential training materials we will gather come in many flavours
Some are predictable, such as articles or training models
Others are not so common and include vignettes of personal experience, games and exercises.
Many Varieties
It is with your stories of personal experience that we would like to get started.
We are looking to compile a list of short responder experiences, moments of meaning, surprise and learning that have taken place during the act of helping.
These are moments that can be shared with others, triggering their own memories of amazing moments which they too can share.
The Importance of Stories
The short stories can be presented in various formats:◦ a 5-10 minute video or audio clip easily done by
a webcam ◦ if you would rather give to us a written version
we would be happy to have it The stories will be open on the website to
comments and thoughts by other members of the Collaborative
It is hoped by sharing our experiences, conversation and dialogue will follow.
Story Formats
In addition we welcome other educational material.

If not, simply give us a citation and abstract or URL where the information can be found.
There is a very good chance some others may have already seen your material and can support your submission.
A for others, we are always open to recommendation.
