ENG4U Suggested Reading List The following lists are provided for students who may wish to complete some reading in advance of taking ENG4U. While in the course, students rely on a process of independent inquiry and collaborative learning to gain a deeper understanding of the literature they read. Book Club Novels Please be advised that you will not be guaranteed one of these titles in your class simply because you have read it in advance - other factors may impact book choice. Students will make reference to this novel in their journals, colloquies, SHSM reports, and the inquiry paper. Further, SHSM students should note course designations after some titles indicating which novels are approved for Contextualized Learning Activities.
