Name:
Nouns that name a group of people, place or thing are called COLLECTIVE NOUNS.
Underline the collective nouns in each sentence.
1. We saw a herd of elephant standing next to the waterhole.
2. There was a large crowd at the stadium.
3. Our team came first in the race.
4. Every year, our family celebrate the festive season.
5. There was a large group of people at the conference.
6. A swarm of bees were coming toward us.
