Cerme Cave’s LocationCerme cave is located in

Srunggo Village, Selopamioro, Imogiri, Bantul, exactly about 22 km fromYogya City.

We can go there by motorcycle or car.

The road had be hard and smooth by aspals.

In the road, we can see beautiful scenery and Yogya City from the hill. If you walk to go there in the night, you’ll see that city like you see thousand stars.

• There are two entrances to enter the cave: Luweng Ploso in Giritirto Village, Panggang, Gunung Kidul Regency or enterance of itself. Two entrances have a same link.• You can enter to Lawang Ploso if you

don’t want mix by other . You will past gardens and rock walls, and then down stairs up.

Cerme Cave has 1300 meters long. Main room has distance 950 from Lawang Ploso. There many branches of cave. There Pandu Cave,

Grojogan Sewu waterfall, bottom land rivers, and also Holy Water.

Water in cave floor has 10 cm high up to 1 meter high.

In many place, cave wall is too short, so we must creep.

This cave is save for beginners. There are many ornaments in the cave. There are

stalactite, column, sodastraw stalagmite, and helectite.

Structure’s Cave

Caving in Cerme Cave we need a half up to two hours. To documented it, we nee 2-3 hours. As cave tourism grade 2-3, you must wear helm and lamp. In complex’s cave there are Publik Cave, Dalang Cave, Sinden Cave, and Kaum Cave. Every Monday or Tuesday Wage, there are holy ceremony.
