My apologies for the early confusion yesterday, when those who attempted to be early birds were unable to access the booking times. Those gremlins were luckily quickly fixed and the new system seems to be working very well - it is extremely user-friendly and feedback has been excellent. If you have not already done so, I urge all parents to log on and register their bookings. If you have mislaid or forgotten your password, Suzanne or Robyn in the office will be happy to retrieve it, or help you with any other queries you may have. The 3-way Conferences begin next Tuesday afternoon and bookings will remain open until then. Compass Reports Your childrens Semester 1 Reports will be available on Compass from midday tomorrow. Simply logon on and you will find the Semester Reportsbutton under the crayon on the toolbar. As I have said before, we are all on a learning curve with Compass. This is the first time we have made our reports available online and the first time Compass has run reports for a primary school. We believe all bases have been covered, but if Murphys Law should strike, please let the office know and be assured we will fix any hiccups as soon as possible. Teachers have been working extremely hard preparing these reports and we realise how important they are to all parents. Compass provides easy access, contributes greatly to the smooth running of the school and will work most effectively if all families jump aboard. We welcome your feedback. New date for Stagestruck Watch this space for a new date for next term. The P.A.C. will be available on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday lunchtime next week for those students who haven’t yet shown me their item. Items need to be well-rehearsed and organized before you come into the P.A.C. to show me. Come and see me if you have any queries.

CHAPS NEWS

The Middle and Senior School Movie Night on Friday night was a huge success. The middle school especially got into the spirit by wearing their onesies or pyjamas, with many of them lugging their beanbags in over their shoulders. Their behaviour was exceptional and it was a pleasure running the event for them. A huge thank you to Sally Harley for organising it and attending on the night, even though she doesn’t have children in either sections of the school.

Just a reminder that all money raised for the Walk-a-Thon is now due back, along with the children’s forms nominating their prize. We anticipate the prizes will be delivered and distributed early in Term 3, but this can’t happen until all the funds are returned. We will start selling tickets for the Trivia Night early next term, so get your tables sorted now - it is shaping up to be a great event. Our next meeting is Monday 23

rd June at 7.00pm (not 9.00am as I put in the last newsletter, oops!) in the Conference Room.

In the meantime if you have any questions at all about CHAPS, please do not hesitate to contact me.

LOST Silver lady’s analogue watch, possibly lost in the Stadium during the Night of the Notables on Monday

night. Please call the office if you can help.

Free Dress on Friday 27th June Just a reminder that next Friday will be a ‘free dress’ day. Gold coin donations will be going towards supporting State Schools’ Relief. State Schools’ Relief is where school communities support each other. For 84 years support has been provided to families and students disadvantaged through hardships by helping with school uniforms and footwear and allowing them to participate in school. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
