How ATP gets used: ATP broken by a hydrolysis reaction and gives up the third phosphate and energy is released for the cell to use. ADP and 1 phosphate is left over.

Electron Carriers: Molecules that indirectly provide the cell with energy by assisting in the process that makes ATP.

NADH and FADH2: a molecule that carries electrons in plant and animal cells
