ENERGOLD’S 150+ YEAR HISTORY
OF WATER DRILLING RIGS
Water well
1867
Water Drilling
During Cholera outbreak
• Growth:
15
• In 2007 Energold de
Mexico donated 3 water
wells to village in
Chihuahua, nearby a client
mining site in state of
Guerrero, Mexico.
• Drought hit the region hard
previously and nearest well
was 7km away. EGD
provided fresh water
drilling 100 meters down (1
week operation) and fitted
hand pumps at the well
which require minimal
maintenance

CASE STUDY:
Water Well Chihuahua, Mexico
• Ing. Javier Hernandez, Director Central
Water Board of Chihuahua, Mexico
“This is good example when enterprises take it upon
themselves to provide social benefits for the local
citizens, especially in this case, as these are towns
out of the radar zone; it’s an invaluable service
because, simply put, without water there’s no life.
Potable water means public health. There are many
more communities in the highlands, that routinely
take water from creeks; but when the drought season
arrives, they have to abandon their homes to find
other places with water. I congratulate Energold,
especially in the name of the Municipality of Guerrero,
which is monitoring this type of generous acts. We
remain very grateful and our aim is now to cooperate
with this company as they are taking care of the
citizens.
