Named Endowment is established with a gift of $25,000 or more through outright contribution or pledge

Portion of Spendable earnings are available to Districts till perpetuity for supporting District/ Global grants

Earnings are made available as part of DDF

Donor Clubs are eligible to use the spendable earnings by submitting a spending plan to DG and DRFC

Endowment Fund- Naming Opportunity

$1,000,000 :Discuss your gift with The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

$500,000: Global Grant Endowed Fund with optional geographic location

$250,000 :Global Grant Endowed Fund in one of Rotary’s areas of focus.

$100,000 :Area of Focus Endowed Fund to global grants developed around the world in one of the areas of focus

$25,000 Named Endowed FundProvides general support to the World Fund, SHARE, or Rotary Peace Centers.

Major Gift Pledges

The Foundation may accept unconditional promises to give (pledges) with payment terms generally of three years or less

The first payment should represent an equal portion of the total value of the pledge.

Pledges must also comply with the following restrictions:

•Payments must come from the individual or entity making the pledge.

•A pledge must be for a single designation only (no split-designation pledges).

•Past giving cannot apply toward the pledge.

Endowments by Multiple Donor

Endowment Funds can be established by a group of donors (Rotarian/non-Rotarian/Trusts) and designated as POOL Endowment

The Fund is established with an outright contribution of minimum USD 25,000

Each donor makes a minimum contribution of USD1000

The endowment has a naming opportunity and can be designated in favour of a Rotary Club/District
