End User Testing: Standalone Online Course Version Directions: Contact T&OD to have yourself, and whoever else will be reviewing your course, added to the “internal” audience temporarily. Have someone else in your department use this form to check it from a Learner’s perspective. They will place a checkmark next to each item that is built/working correctly. If an item is missing or not functioning properly, they will note this in the space provided. You will use this form to correct/update your online course. Once completely filled out accurately, submit the form to T&OD at [email protected] once you are ready to launch your online course. T&OD will review the course using the same checklist. End User Testing: Standalone Online Course Version

I am able to navigate to the last page of the course.

For standalone courses without internal assessments, the last page of the course includes standard verbiage related to successfully completing the course and a “Update Transcript” type of button.

For standalone courses with internal assessments, the assessment page includes standard verbiage related to successfully completing the final assessment, the required minimum percentage needed and a button/link to access the internal assessment. Example:

Upon successful assessment completion, the learner should be taken to a congratulations/completed page that includes congratulatory verbiage on passing the assessment and presented with a “Close Course” type of button.

Upon UN-successful assessment completion, the learner should be taken to a I’m sorry/failure page that includes congratulatory verbiage on passing the assessment and presented with a “Close Course” type of button.

When I click the Update Transcript button, I am presented with a dialog box where I can click a Close or Launch button.

When I click the Close button, the course content closes, and I am returned to the Activity Details page.

The “Required by Parent” verbiage does NOT appear on Activity Details page.

The online course displays as “Attended.”

On the learner dashboard, I can click the Training Transcript link on the left-hand navigation bar.

My Training Transcript should show the online course has been attended. For those with internal assessments, the achieved score should appear in the Score column as well. Example:

For Courses needing UpdatesIf there are issues with this course, T&OD will submit the End User checklist back to you with indicated updates needed. Once you review and correct, send the completed checklist back to us. Once the activity passes review, we will notify you and get permission to flip the audience and the activity will be live.
