Encounters ArtsSince 2003 we have delivered over forty projects working with thousands of people in arts, regeneration, community, environmental, education, reconciliation and rehabilitation contextsWe use the transformational power of the arts to inspire creativity, dialogue and change between people of all ages and backgrounds
We offer imaginative spaces and processes for people to explore their relationship with themselves, each other, where they live and the wider natural world

Offering participatory interventions that facilitate exchange between people of all ages and cultures
Co-authoring evolving artworks with people and places about the past present and future
Adapting and bringing to localities our tried and tested models of creative community involvement or tailor making new participatory approaches.
Partnering with organisations from the creative, community, voluntary and statutory sectors.

Dewsbury ShopFunded by Kirklees Council in partnership with Regional Development Agency, Yorkshire Forward. A two-year project to raise ambition and aspiration and act as a catalyst for Dewsbury people to develop new
ideas connections, ambitions, and aspirations
4,000 people join in with participatory activities in the shop and town centre 150 participants in inter-cultural and inter-generational workshops 30 frontline workers and managers in workshopsSupport to Architects feeding back masterplans 150 residents & stakeholders at visioning events
