Egypt aims to have 20% of its energy from
renewables by 2020.
Amidst the growing momentum of the energy and
renewables market in the region, Enara envisions
Egypt as a regional energy hub. With a strategic
geographical location, thriving entrepreneurial
scene and skilled workforce, Egypt is in an
excellent position to take on a leading role.
There are many reasons why it is important to
consider sustainability when investing, and we are
very aware of this at Enara. We maintain
sustainability and efficiency as core values. We
seek to bridge prosperity and responsible
investment.
Our priorities are: localizing the energy value
chain, fostering energy efficiency projects, and

Waste Projects
We have established partnerships with a selective group of local waste
recycling operators and contractors to develop an untapped waste
market with great potential. Nevertheless during 2014 in collaboration
with international consultants, donors, industrial associations and the
Egyptian government, we have assisted in constructing a
technical/economic master plan to combat the challenges of waste
management in Egypt. Moreover, we are members of several industrial
associations and stakeholders group addressing industrial, agriculture
and solid waste management investment and development programs in
Egypt.
Currently in the pipeline we are developing a 500MSW ton/day RDF-
Composite recycling facility and a 100ton feedstock Bio Gas plant.
