ZEPPELIN SYNOPSIS

An unprecedented show that leads us into the world of dreams and imagination.

Monsieur Bocamoll, Marcello the Inventor mechanic and Ursus the courageous acrobat Pilot

bring us in their Zeppelin to the fabulous time of the pioneers in air travel at the beginning of the

20th century. They take off on their flight to the scene of open-mouthed citizens. Nothing can turn

them back. Neither storms nor breakdowns will impede them on their tour. With the audience’s

help they will overcome all obstacles. On their journeys through the world they’ll meet people,

see cities, they’ll fall in love… music and colour will fill the streets.

An adventure full of surprises, which will eclipse the monotony of the cities with the flight of the

Zeppelin. The struggle of these fantastic dreamers to turn their illusions into reality

La Baldufa presents an extremely versatile show, adaptable to infinity of routes, parades...

ZEPPELIN STANDARD TECHNICAL SHEET

Assembly time: 3h

Show duration: 1h

Dismantling time: 1h30’

Loading and unloading: We need a place to park the van and trailer, 10m and 5m behind the

trailer is needed to unload the Zeppelin. Total: 15m in line. This space must be free of mov ing

vehicles and persons to not disrupt traffic and to facilitate the assembly and dismantling. If you

foresee an area travelled by pedestrians, there will have to be sufficient fences to surround the

dev ice. In case of rain, the assembly will be done in a covered area; in the rain, the Zeppelin will

not be assembled.

Stage Management: At least one person is essential for the arrival of the company. This person

must know the space to facilitate assembly and disassembly. They also have to know the route of

the show and arranged schedules and necessary permits. They must have sufficient authority to

make the decision to cancel the show in case of rain.

The possible attendance must be calculated to avoid too many people, protect the machine

and have enough staff on hand to prevent accidents. This also will be the responsibility of the

stage manager.

When participating in parades the dimensions of the streets have to be:

2.5m wide x 4.5m high

Have in mind that in turns, to manoeuvre, there should be a distance of 7.1m.

In case the show is not travelling: For the smooth running of the show there should be available

space where the machine can make small stops of about 20-30m and during stops, the public

can get around to enjoy the actions (ideal places are squares, wide streets, avenues, etc.). All

this space must be free of vehicle traffic.

For the smooth running of the show it must not conflict with other events in the same space.

Keep in mind that the Zeppelin has to return to the place where the transport vehicle parked or

we must be able to take the vehicle to the place where the show ends. The average speed of Zeppelin is 7km/h.

21/09/2015 - 11 -

Light and sound:

The Zeppelin has three self-powered 250w speakers with a total of 750w and microphones for the

actors. During the parade, music is played and during the show text and music is alternated. The

machine has light, which makes it possible to perform at night.

Pyrotechnics:

During the show, pyrotechnic effects are used: magnesium flash 3047.III: B-08.958.209.1. 0336.1,4G

Insurance: The Zeppelin is insured with Allianz policy 017944125

Dressing rooms: One dressing room with a total capacity for three persons, equipped with toilets,

chairs, coat racks, showers with hot water, a mirror and at least three litres of mineral water. It

must be a few meters from the assembly site.
