EN 12668-2 Certified ProbesUltrasonic flaw detection probes meet all requirements of European standard EN 12668-2.
EN probes are suitable for use in a broad range of appli-cations and in all industry segments. They are particularly beneficial for the critical requirements of the Power Generation and Aerospace industries, with the following benefits:

• Detailed 4-page Certificate of Calibration available as an option - PZ-EN (order no. 59969).
The results of an ultrasonic inspection are only as reliable as the probe that is used to perform the test. The perfor-mance of a high quality probe must be
• accurate relative to its nominal specifications
• reproducible and consistent among probes of the same type.
To assure high quality and consistency among flaw detec-tion probes, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) has ratified standard EN 12668-2, “Non-destructive testing - Characterization and verification of ultrasonic examination equipment – Part 2: Probes.”
