Marialuisa Flores2014 Stem Cell Research Internship FellowWhen Marialuisa joined our most rigorous research program she was 17 and pregnant with her second child. Unlike other programs which do not accept pregnant minors, we stood by our mission to support disadvantaged students regardless of their personal circumstances. Marialuisa is now on a premed track, about to graduate with a degree in biochemistry.

Lifeline Education Charter School - ComptonThrough our educational support, students at this severely underserved inner cityschool have gone on to attend prestigious colleges (UC. Berkeley, Pen State, UCLA) and pursue STEM careers.

Our students receive practical skills, professional mentorship, career education and real-world inspiration they can’t gain in school or college.
