The shift to a work-from-anywhere environment has created the urgent need for agile and secure networkcapabilities that can support the edge, including remote working, distributed clouds, and IoT. Security is heavilyfragmented across multiple domains of physical locations, cloud resources, edge devices, and mobile users, andconventional data center MPLS networks and perimeter-based security models are no longer viable. An enterprise may start with modernizing its WAN or security, but to realize the true value of their digitaltransformation investments, both aspects must be addressed in order to embrace new timely innovations forbusiness success.
