About the Job The Head - Inclusive insurance is responsible primarily to provide results-oriented leadership in designing, implemenng and managing intervenons aimed at increasing access to insurance for low-income households and individuals. The Head is expected to be an expert in inclusive insurance products and services for urban and rural households. He/she is responsible for providing oversight, coordinaon and management of the conceptualizaon, programming and implementaon of all-inclusive insurance intervenons. This posion reports directly to FSD Zambia’s Director Financial Service Supply and is a technical expert role in market facilitaon for developing an inclusive insurance market in Zambia. The role requires the Head to manage an agreed technical porolio and is mainly responsible for FSD Zambia’s Inclusive Insurance project/ themac area which involves a) partnership relaonship management; b) funding process design and c) project process management and accountability. The porolio is indicave and addional responsibilies might be assigned to this role as per FSD Zambia needs. Qualificaons and Experience Master’s degree in Insurance, Economics, Internaonal Development, Development Economics, and or Business Administraon Minimum 5 years of professional experience in facilitaon the development of Insurance service markets; Strong management capabilies with excellent track record of providing organisaonal and leadership support to ensure the effecve and efficient delivery of projects; Excellent interpersonal, networking and negoaon skills with staff, stakeholders and partners with movaon for high quality service delivery. Demonstrated ability to conceptualise and drive design, successful implementaon and monitoring of programmes that focus on inclusive insurance. Demonstrated ability to facilitate creavity for inclusive service and products delivery for the target market. Qualifications and Experience

• Strong management capabilities with excellent track record of providingorganisational and leadership support to ensure the effective and efficient deliveryof projects;

• Excellent interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills with staff, stakeholdersand partners with motivation for high quality service delivery.

• Demonstrated ability to conceptualise and drive design, successful implementationand monitoring of programmes that focus on inclusive insurance.
